During my time at Texas Tech I gained extensive management skills and practical work experience. Labs in hotel operations, food production and computers, among others, gave me hands-on training that increased my marketability in the industry. The nature of the hospitality business allowed me a great deal of individual and group social interaction. The camaraderie prepared me in areas of interpersonal communication and networking which facilitates future employment opportunities.
